We are writing to remind you to frequently check the Ministry of Health website for new and updated guidance documents on COVID-19. Ministry directives, memoranda, and other resources are also available. Ontario emergency orders are also posted.

The Ministry has now posted the updated document, COVID-19 Quick Reference Public Health Guidance on Testing and Clearance (Version 8, June 25, 2020). The Quick Reference helps guide decisions on testing and clearance of contacts of cases or individuals suspected or confirmed to have COVID-19. There are some minor changes from Version 7 and a new section on “Work Self-Isolation in Non-Health Care Settings” for asymptomatic workers who are deemed critical to operations, to be used only when other work accommodations (e.g., working from home) are not feasible.

For COVID-19 information see OPH’s Physician and Health Care Professionals Coronavirus website, visit www.ottawapublichealth.ca/ncov), or call 613-580-6744.
