Immunization in Schools

Learn more about COVID-19 and immunizations

Last revised: October 21, 2022

Ottawa Public Health had paused the school immunization clinics during the pandemic, but have now resumed for grades 7 and 8. A signed consent form or verbal consent is needed for students to receive the vaccines at school. Please see the Immunizations for Youth and School Vaccine Information page for more information.

School Public Health Nurses can also support principals in the immunization record verification process as needed.
