Test and Go

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic we have had to prioritize the clinical services we offer. Currently, we are not offering Test & Go or walk-in clinics. To ensure physical distancing, please call ahead to book an appointment at 613-234-4641. We are offering appointments for the following:
  • HIV Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (HIV PEP)
  • Emergency Contraception (Ella/Plan B/IUD)
  • Contraception, including intrauterine devices (IUDs) and low-cost options
  • Persons diagnosed with an STI, including chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and/or HIV
  • Sexual partners of persons diagnosed with an STI including chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and/or HIV
  • STI testing and screening for members of the following groups:
    • Indigenous communities
    • African, Caribbean, and Black communities
    • LGBTQ+, including gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men
    • Persons engaging in sex work
    • People who use drugs

For any other services, please contact your primary care provider (family physician or nurse practitioner) or visit a walk-in clinic. An appointment for those who have no symptoms and just need a quick, routine STBBI (sexually transmitted and/or blood borne infection) check-up.

Before You Book

  • If you have symptoms, need an exam, treatment, or anything other than STI testing, Test & Go is not for you. Come see us at our regular clinic.

Please note:The nurse will not be able to see you during a Test & Go clinic if you have symptoms of any kind (i.e. burning or pain when you pee, bumps, sores or blisters on or   near your genitals or anus, lower abdominal pain, discharge in the genital area, a change or an increase in discharge from your vagina)

Do I Need a Test?

  • We recommend you get tested every 6 months, or when you have a new sexual partner. 
  • If your partner has an STI, you might need a treatment. Come see us at our regular clinic

What You Can Expect

  • Come Prepared: don’t urinate for 1 hour before the test.
  • No News Is Good News: results can take up to 2 weeks.
  • You must present your Ontario Health Card on arrival (International Students will be directed to other clinics)
