- Updated: IPAC Guidelines for Health Care Settings. Public Health Ontario (PHO). Routine Practices and Additional Precautions in All Health Care Settings, 3rd Edition resource. The update is limited to Appendix N: Clinical Syndromes/Conditions with Required Level of Precautions, which has been revised by the Provincial Infectious Diseases Advisory Committee on Infection Prevention and Control (PIDAC-IPC) to reflect current evidence and best practices.
- For your patients: free, short online trainings available 24/7 for your patients, from Ottawa Public Health’s Mental Health, Addictions and Substance Use Health team. Covering topics such as overdose prevention and response, supporting someone experiencing a mental health challenge, youth education on the health effects of tobacco, vaping, cannabis, and more. The site is updated regularly as new courses become available.
- Ottawa Primary Care Survey: invitation to family doctors, nurse practitioners, and clinic directors or managers to complete a 5-10 minute survey, from Ottawa Ontario Health Team (OHT-ESO) Primary Care Network Leadership Group (PCNLG). Main goals of survey are to: establish a comprehensive local database of family physicians and nurse practitioners in Ottawa; conduct a needs assessment for primary care capacity planning in Ottawa.
