Overview

1-day course in Cardiology for primary care physicians and specialists in cardiovascular medicine. This course serves as a refresher of current guidelines and standards for the work-up and management of common cardiac presentations as well as an update on the latest innovations in cardiology.

Overall Learning Objectives

By the end of the educational activity, participants will be able to:

  • Review and integrate newly published data and guidelines that affect how cardiovascular care should be delivered.
  • Describe and evaluate pathways for testing and management of cardiovascular conditions.
  • Describe ways to improve primary care referral practices and patient outcomes.
