Dear Colleagues,
You may receive questions from patients as OPH has released a Public Service Announcement on Ontario’s COVID-19 spring vaccination campaign: Spring into action – COVID-19 dose recommended for people at higher risk | City of Ottawa.
The eligibility requirements for patients are outlined in a previous Public Heath Alert from April 14, 2025: COVID-19 Vaccine Program Spring Update.
Please note, the Ontario Ministry of Health has communicated to local health units that the Moderna vaccine formulation for children will expire on June 17th, 2025, and will not be replenished until the fall campaign. High-risk children are encouraged to receive a dose of the vaccine this spring while it remains available.
