Subject: Product ordering information for Ontario’s RSV prevention programs

Dear Colleagues,

In follow-up to the Public Health Alert shared September 15, 2025 ‘Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) prevention programs for the 2025-2026 RSV season’, this communication is to provide RSV product ordering information.

RSV Prevention Program Ordering Information

RSV products can now be ordered through Ottawa Public Health’s Vaccine Distribution Centre for administration to eligible patients (Older Adult High-Risk Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) Vaccine Program Fact Sheet - Health Care Providers; Infant and High-risk Children Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) Prevention Program Factsheet for Health Care Providers) for the 2025-2026 season.

The RSV product order form is available now at ottawapublichealth.ca/hcp

Note: If OPH has contacted your office about the number of doses for first shipment of Older Adult RSV vaccines, this is now being processed as an order, and you do not need to re-order with the form above.

For locations that have viable vaccine product on-hand, from the 2024-2025 RSV prevention programs, that product should be used first.

Immunization of eligible older adults can begin any time after receipt of product, or with any viable vaccine you have on hand from the 2024-2025 season.

Immunization of eligible infants, high risk children and pregnant patients should not begin until October 1st to ensure protection into the RSV season (November to late March).

Note: Doses of AbrysvoTM ordered as part of the Infant and High-Risk Children Program should be prioritized for pregnant individuals and not used for Older Adult immunization.

We ask that you only order the amount of vaccine required to meet your needs to minimize wastage. Any additional questions about RSV vaccine orders can be directed to our Vaccine Distribution Centres at vaccine@ottawa.ca.
